ABOUT US

Maywood String Ensemble

Our Story

The Maywood String Quartet, Utah’s most-booked string quartet with over 100 events annually, has recently expanded into the Maywood String Ensemble, now a group of ten musicians with unique talents and diversity. With nearly two decades of experience, this expansion enhances their versatility and allows them to better serve clients with a broader repertoire and increased flexibility for events of any size, from intimate ceremonies to large receptions, corporate dinners, and family luncheons. Combining classical background music with beloved contemporary favorites, the Maywood String Ensemble brings a refined and celebratory atmosphere to any venue.

The ensemble’s members are seasoned studio recording artists and experienced stage performers, having collaborated with renowned artists such as The Utah Symphony, Jon Schmidt, Peter Breinholt, Paul Cardall, David Tolk, and Kenneth Cope.

They have also performed at prominent events, including the Governor Leavitt Celebration, Salt Lake City 9/11 Candlelight Vigil, multiple University of Utah Graduation Ceremonies, Assembly Hall Concert Series, Utah Music Federation Competition, FM100 Mini Concert Series, ABC Channel 4’s Good Things Utah, and the UtahBrides.com Concert Series.
