VIOLIN
A native of Utah, Caitlin Fowler began her violin studies at age six with Deborah Moench, continuing with Gerald Elias as she advanced. She attended the University of Southern California's renowned Thornton School of Music before completing her degree at the University of Utah School of Music. While at the U, Caitlin studied under Hasse Borup and performed with the University Symphony, New Music Ensemble, and Honors Quartet, gaining a breadth of experience in both classical and contemporary repertoire.
Caitlin has shared her love of music through teaching in diverse settings. In addition to running her own private violin studio, she taught at the Utah Conservatory in Park City and was the violin instructor at Park City Day School from 2011 to 2016, where she designed and directed a violin program for elementary and middle school students. Today, Caitlin operates her studio in Bountiful, Utah, where she enjoys mentoring the next generation of violinists. She lives with her husband and their four children, balancing her dedication to music with a rich family life.
