H_edited.jpg

Elyse is a dedicated and accomplished harpist with a lifelong passion for music. Beginning her harp studies at the age of eight, she is currently a senior in the harp program at Brigham Young University. Her impressive performance experience includes collaborations with The Utah Youth Orchestras and Ensembles, the Maywood Quartet, BYU’s Harp Ensemble, BYU Symphonic Band, BYU Wind Symphony, and various other ensembles across Utah. She has also had the unique opportunity to perform alongside the Children’s Dance Theater.

Under the guidance of Dr. Nicole Brady, Elyse has refined her artistry and technical skill at BYU, preparing for The American Harp Society Competition. She has benefited from the mentorship of renowned harpists, including Hannah Cope (principal harpist for The Metropolitan Opera), Parker Ramsey, Elizabeth Clark, and Delaine Leonard.

In addition to her performance pursuits, Elyse has embarked on Suzuki harp teacher training and plans to open her own studio after graduating this spring. Her love for the harp extends beyond the concert stage; for nine years, she has charmed audiences as the Teatime Harpist at the Grand America, sharing the instrument's soothing elegance in a refined setting. Her most meaningful experiences, however, come from her work at the Huntsman Cancer Center, where she brings comfort and hope to patients through her music.

Elyse’s commitment to teaching, performing, and creating demonstrates her dedication to sharing the harp’s beauty and her passion for connecting with audiences. Her devotion to her craft and her desire to inspire others make her a remarkable musician.
